Here is a list of terms we use on Brandtribe Insights and a definition of what they are – just to help you understand what they mean:

  • Dashboard – The canvass on which you put your Insights (charts).
  • Insight – A chart representing your data. Insights are added to dashboards.
  • Connector – The 3rd party service providing the data source. Example: Facebook, Google, twitter etc.
  • Data Source – The data profile or property supplying the data to the Insight (chart) via your connector.
  • Templates – A pre-defined dashboard of Insights generated by our industry experts to save you time.
  • Users – There are 4 user types on Brandtribe Insights which are:
    • Administrator – Has full access to all capabilities of the system, including (but not limited to) billing.
    • Power User – Has full control of their own dashboards and dashboards to which they are given access.
    • User – Has full control of their own dashboards only.
  • Public Link Sharing – You can share your dashboard on a public link by supplying a URL to a 3rd party for view in a web browser.
  • Email Support – Is available Mondays through Fridays, 09h00 to 16h00 CAT. Responses typically will be within 1 business day.
  • Automated Data Refreshes – Brandtribe Insights uses your connectors to periodically update the data that appears on your Insights. This happens every 8 hours, however you can trigger a manual refresh by simply changing the date range on your dashboard.
